Improved Internal Anti Spam Measures

Of course all Safeserve’s clients are reputable and trustworthy but malware could infiltrate a client’s network, set up one or more “Zombie Computers” and route spam through our mail server with adverse consequences for other users. To avoid this we now require clients to authenticate by TLS encrypted passwords rather than IP address. We will contact anyone affected to help with this change.

We are also implementing measures to monitor and act against any outgoing traffic that looks like spam. This only affects unusually large mailings, but if you wish to send out a large number of emails in a short space of time then please contact us. Anyone wishing to do this more than once should be aware that all business customers get free use of Safeserve’s advanced Email Campaign Management service, Safemailer.
