Outlook

To setup your Safeserve POP account in Outlook XP (2002) follow the steps below:

Open Outlook, and click on  [Tools] menu then select [E-mail Accounts]:

Select [Add a new e-mail account] the click on [Next] :

The type of service is a POP3 server, so select [POP3] and click on [Next]:

Fill in the relevant information:

• Your name (as you wish your recipients to see it when you send them an email)
• Your email address (e.g. @safeserve.com or @your-own-domain if we host it for you)
• The POP3 server - pop3.safeserve.com
• The SMTP server - smtp.safeserve.com if you connect directly to us via dialup, ISDN or broadband. Contact the ISP you use for connectivity for their SMTP server otherwise.
• Your username and password that we supplied to you.

Click on [More Settings], then select [Outgoing Server]. Click on [My outgoing server {SMTP} requires authentication], to ensure there is a tick in the box. Then click on [OK]

You have now finished the setup, so click FINISH to exit.

To receive your email, click the "Send/Receive" button on the toolbar.
